Sara Grace

Friday, June 29th, 8:30-11pm

Sara Grace, a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and songwriter from central Pennsylvania, channels her musical influences into her own style that is best described as “soul funky folk.”

Sara has recently returned to PA after spending the last 12 years in central Vermont, where she worked with several of Vermont’s finest musicians in a myriad of musical endeavors, musical projects, and performances. A few of these fine musicians include Ray Paczkowski, (keyboardist for both The Trey Anastasio and The Dave Mathews Band) and native Singer/Songwriter, Anais Mitchell. From 2007 to 2009 she was cast as “Cerberus”,  in the original crew of  Anais Mitchell’s hit folk opera “Hadestown”, touring Vermont, which is now currently performing off Broadway in NYC.

Both Paczkowski and Mitchell are featured on Sara’s 2011 Debut release, “REQUITED” along with several other brilliant players including Rob Morse, Michael Chorney, Andy Suits and Asa Brosius, to name a few.  In a review of “REQUITED,” Dan Bolles of Seven Days writes “Richly orchestrated, imaginatively crafted and expertly executed, the record is a tour de force, revealing the explosive talents of a dynamic local songwriter.”

No cover.
