Damaged Goods: The Punk Aesthetic Reception with Daisy Face & Pleasure Kills

Join us at The Brasserie for a punk reception open to the public on Thursday, September 26, at 9pm. Enjoy local punk bands Pleasure Kills and Daisy Face.

This event has been coordinated in conjunction with The Samek Art Museum’s exhibit “Damaged Goods: The Punk Aesthetic,” which is now open at the Samek Art Museum in Lewisburg. Stop by the Samek’s Campus Gallery location to check it out. The exhibition is organized in four categories: protopunk (1966-76), 1st wave punk (1975-79), postpunk and new wave (1978-84), and hardcore and anarchopunk (1980-86).

The Samek Art Museum will launch the Fall 2019 semester with an opening reception in honor of its latest exhibitions, “The Etching Revival: Its French Sources and American Legacy” and “Damaged Goods: The Punk Aesthetic” in the Campus Gallery, Elaine Langone Center, Top Floor, at 7pm (before the show at the Brass).
